A brief
India! If i need to describe it in one word- Culturistic! Beside it vast diversity and beauty, India is notoriously difficult for beginner cyclist, However, as part of the commonwealth country, language is easy with english is widely spoken and understood, a bit of planning in highly recommended. With the worldwide reviews about india's traffics, crimes and pollution, many will just hang up their bike and forgot about the dream. Hey man, it wasnt so bad as we thought! Generally, kids is the best to ask for information, they speak straight(often in reasonable english), will not ask for any compensation in return and will happily ask for a picture. Along my journey from Kochi (city in Kerala state- South) to New Delhi, it was a great experienced, talking about safety, i have got some help from locals many times, i remember one time i was in the middle of the Tiger reserved area(yes, it is with tigers and it is not allowed for cycling- but somehow i managed to get in the middle of Bandipur Tiger reserved area), the ranger on duty was so nice, placing a seat for me at his booth and looking for the big vehicle For me to hike-hitch, and the other guy came by and asked for permission to try my bike, after the journey, the lorry person in-charge only asked for rupee100 for the boys for about 40km of journey. Easy and economy, the only things to consider is the cleanness, subjective to say, you will always need to compensate in between expenses and comfort.

Foods & Drinks
Vegetarian place, foods in India is superb for everybody, despite all the bad reviews about the cleanness of the foods, India offer great wide range of the meals. I will recommend you to choose the foods based on cleanness over other factors. Anyway, i did not have any problem with the foods here- even the street foods is just fine so far.
